I became a freelance brand communications strategist and creative writer in early 2017, having spent several years working for a leading brand communications agency.
I made the leap upon sensing a shift in the industry. Agency models and budgets are becoming outdated. They’re being replaced by savvy freelance professionals who can offer the same quality work for real world money.
I’m a sociable creature, and although I’m now independent of an agency I remain part of a talented creative network. My project management experience allows me to build and lead teams of all shapes and sizes, according to the scope and scale of the project.
I live and work in sunny Brighton, just a short stroll from the sea, a few minutes drive from the beautiful South Downs and an hour’s train ride into London. I work with clients across the U.K. and internationally. When we’re in the same city I like to host meetings in one of the many coffee shops or bars in our bustling Laines, or at my lovely office space, Platf9rm, just a stone’s throw from the mainline train station. Magic sometimes happens during walking meetings along the seafront, when weather permits.
My current projects include a creative brand story for a start-up that imports tea from the remote mountains in Southeast China; strategic messaging and website copy for a healthcare social enterprise on a mission to revitalise our primary care system; and an epic website rewrite for an internationally renowned ethical certification company.
I offer a 10% discount to start ups, charities and social enterprises. Please get in touch to find out more.
